JOHN HANCOCK

Ruling Elder

RE Hancock is originally from the area and graduated from Sparta High School in 1979. He enjoys family, music, following politics, and shooting firearms -- but not necessarily in that order.

Married in 1982, John and Rhonda came to Bethel with their three children -- Bethany, Adam, and Brooke -- in 2004, and knew almost immediately that this would be their church home. Now, their children are all grown, married, and have children of their own. Family time with the grandchildren is a big part of the Hancocks' life. 

As part of his duties, John regularly teaches a Sunday school class on the Westminster Confession of Faith.
